RAILS members have two resources available for looking up contact information, delivery codes, etc., for other libraries. You can search for libraries either on the Library Learning (L2) website, or through the Member Library Search on the RAILS website.

  • L2 Library Search - You may either search by library name or browse by library type. The advanced search form provides additional search options. The search results list includes only the name and address of each library, linking to more details. To see a library's staff list, you need to be logged into L2.
  • RAILS Member Search - You may search by a number of fields in the directory, including "reverse lookups" by delivery code. The results list includes library name, delivery codes, city and county, director's name, and (when you are logged into the RAILS website) telephone number and director's email.

Because both the L2 Search and RAILS Member Search use data from L2's library directory, it is important that members regularly review the listings for their buildings and keep the information current.
